INFORMATION ABOUT OUR SPEAKER – Tom Conneely

Tom lives in Larkspur with his wife and two 2 children - entering 1st and 4th grade.  Tom's family immigrated from Chicago to Mill Valley when he was 10.  He attended public school in Mill Valley, then Tam High, and obtained his degree from UCSB.  Tom returned to the Bay Area after college and has lived and worked (asset lending business) in Marin ever since.  For the past 8 years Tom has been the Vice President of Lighthouse Capital Partners, the leading venture debt firm in the country (www.lcpartners.com).  Tom grew up in a household where strong commitment to the community was a key element.  He became involved in the Corte Madera Larkspur Schools Foundation when his son was in Kindergarten - served as President for 3 years raising $450,000, $502,000 and $525,000, respectively.  Tom stewarded the CMLSF through a transition from a group of well meaning parents to a sustainable organization with a prominent role within the public school system.
