School Fuel Softball Tournament

Calling Moms, Teachers and Staff members: The School Fuel women's softball tournament is coming up on October 4th through 7th. All elementary and middle schools are encouraged to field one or more teams. Everyone in the community is invited to come to the games and cheer on their favorite school, mom or teacher! Games will be played at Rancho and Pleasant Valley. Please see the flyer for more information, and the registration form can be downloaded here. Elizabeth Sleath Honored as Citizen of the Year

Elizabeth Sleath, president of School Fuel's board of directors, was awarded the honor of Novato Citizen of the Year on January 30, 2010. Sleath's list of contributions includes serving as an organizer for the Emergency Education Fund in 2003, co-chairing a successful parcel tax campaign for public schools in 2005, judging Novato candidates for the Marin County Office of Education's Golden Bell Awards, and judging the Margie Burke Memorial Speech Tournament.
