Novato celebrated its talented student musicians with two district-wide concerts Feb. 2 and Feb. 9. Did you know that School Fuel funded one of those music teacher positions? Your generous support of School keeps music alive in Novato. School Fuel also urges you to fuel up at Matt & Jeff’s Hand Car Wash—the owners continue to donate money for every gallon of gas you buy.
School Fuel supports artists, too. Come to the second Art Smart Showcase March 31 thru April 6 at Northbay ArtWorks, 7049 Redwood Blvd. The opening reception is March 31 from 4 to 7 p.m. Students interested in submitting work can download an application at www.novatoschoolfuel.org. The deadline is March 13. A limited number of middle and high school students are also being recruited to volunteer at the show and sit gallery hours. Call 892-8188 if you are interested.
Let's get a huge Novato crowd at School Fuel Night at the Giants April 24! It’s the Giants vs. New York Mets at 7:15 p.m. Novato students will perform the National Anthem on the field before the game. Tickets are $20; $9 goes to School Fuel. Purchase tickets online* at www.novatoschoolfuel.org, or send name, email or phone and a check for $20/ticket to the School Fuel office at 448 Ignacio Boulevard, #410, Novato, CA 94949 and your tickets will be held at will call for pick-up before the game.
